The Greatest Football Player of All Time

Football is one of the most popular sports in America today. But do you know who the best football player of all time is? Pele is the best football player of all time for his remarkable performance in his key role in two of Brazil's first three World Cup victories.

Some personal information about him is that Pele's full name is Edson Arantes Do Nascimento. His childhood nickname was "Dico." This great man was born on October 23, 1940 in Tres Coracoes, Brazil. He has humble beginnings. As a boy he helped his family's financial condition by cleaning shoes at the local train station. In 1956 at the age of 16, he began playing soccer in Brazilian minor league teams such as Bauru Athletic Club and was coached by the former Brazilian international Waldemar de Brito, who played for Brazil during the 1934 World Cup.

Pele played for the clubs Santos and New York Cosmos and his best position is being striker. He had won 3 World Championships for Brazil, 2 Intercontinental Cups, 2 Copa Libertadores, and a Brazilian Championship for the club Santos and for the club New York Cosmos; he had won the US Championship once. This guy is honored as the IFFHS Player of the Century. He was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame in the year 1993 and named as IOC Athlete of the Century in the year 1999.

There is no doubt that Pele is the best football player of all time because of his significant contributions in the world of football. Ney Blanco de Oliveira, Pele's personal friend for more than 40 years, admires him for being a kind person who has the heart to help other people and organizations that help children around the world. He mentioned that, "Edson is not only the greatest soccer player the world will ever know, but he is also one of the most sensitive, generous and noble human beings that I have ever known." Two of the famous lines from this great person: "I was born for soccer, just as Beethoven was born for music," and, "Enthusiasm is everything. It must be taut and vibrating like a guitar string."

A Short Biography of Soccer Player - Louis Saha

His complete name is Louis Laurent Saha. He was born on 8 August 1978 in Paris, France. Saha is a soccer player of French who has a playing position in the field as a forward. In the Premier League currently he plays for Everton club and in his countryside he is a member of the national squad of France.

His first appearance with France is in 2004 when his team won 2-0 against Belgium. Louis Saha stood for France team at the 2004 European Football Championships as well as the 2006 FIFA World Cup which his team got to the final.

His career in club level is with Metz, Fulham, Manchester United, and then Everton. In 1996 Louis Saha began his soccer career with Metz youth academy. In two years Saha starts on the senior lineup of Metz and getting into 47 appearances in favor of the club. In 2000 Saha was moved to Fulham for a fee of £2.1million and as long as his stay at the club in amount of 120 appearances he made 63 goals. In 2004 He was moved to Manchester United club with transfer value of £12.8 million. And in his first season he scored 15 goals for them. He was transferred to Everton for an unrevealed cost, making a sign of a two year agreement with this club.

Saha won same honors as long as his career as professional soccer player and some of them are with Fulham (Football League First Division (1): 2000-2001), and with Manchester United (Premier League (2): 2006-2007, 2007- 2008; Football League Cup (1): 2005- 2006; UEFA Champions League (1): 2007- 2008).

By improving your fitness and eating healthily you are more likely to be able to last the whole game on a regular basis. As a coach, you will be impressed with the players who work hard to improve their fitness levels.

David Beckham is Not Just Another Soccer Player, He is the Player

Born as David Robert Joseph Beckham, he is one of the most successful midfielders that the world of football has ever seen. Born in Leytonstone, London, England, Beckham was born to Ted Beckham (Kitchen Fitter) and Sandra Georgina West (hairdresser). Soccer attracted him from a young age as he started playing at the Ridgeway Park in Chingford even as a child. David Beckham (DB) in an interview in 2007 said that when teachers at school asked him "What do you want to do when you're older?" he would say that he wanted to be a footballer. Such is the passion and love for the game that has today catapulted his career to newer heights.

David Beckham started his career in soccer with Manchester United and he was instrumental in guiding the club to win the FA Youth Cup in 1992. David scored in the second half of the final against Crystal Palace to seal victory. In the same year, he appeared as a substitute in a league match and following that signed his first professional contract. But it was 2 years later in 1994 that Mr.Beckham made his debut in the UEFA Champions League and scored a goal in the 4-0 victory against Galatasaray. In spite of his efforts Manchester United finished 3rd in the group.

In the 1994-95 season David Beckham enthralled soccer fans by scoring goals directly from a corner kick. During the same season, Sir Alex Ferguson, Manchester United's manager gave David Beckham the chance to play in major league. MU started the season with a 3-1 defeat in the hands of Aston Villa with Beckham scoring the only goal. MU went on to win the next 5 matches. All in all, David Beckham has made 265 Premier league appearances for Manchester United and scored a total of 61 goals. He has 81 Champions league appearances and 15 goals to his name as well. He has won two FA Cups, six Premier League titles, one European Cup, one FA Youth Cup, and one Intercontinental Cup within a span of 12 years.

His career with Real Madrid (Spain) was not as successful as it was with Manchester United and in 2007, he joined Los Angeles Galaxy. Currently he is playing for Milan and has scored 116 goals so far in his career. He is married to Victoria Adams and has founded the founded the David Beckham Academy for football in London and Los Angeles. Beyond soccer, David Beckham is also famous for his tattoos!

Short Biography of Soccer Player - Kaka

His full name is Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite. He was born 22 April 1982, and generally known as Kaká. He is a Brazilian soccer player who plays as midfielder and now participates for Real Madrid C.F. and the Brazilian national team.

He began his career as a soccer player at the age of eight, when he started playing for a local club. Kaká won the Ballon d'Or and FIFA World Player of the Year awards in 2007 while at the Italian club.

An internet discussion forum gives details the nickname as a usually used shortened form of "Ricardo" in Portuguese. Kaká is presumed to have got his nickname for the reason that his little brother Rodrigo can not pronounce the word "Ricardo" when they were young. Rodrigo called his older brother "Caca" which the latter later altered to "Kaká.

The majority Brazilian soccer players derive from poor families and sport is one of their simply ways to get out of this state.
